The Hollow Truths

From their inception in 2015, The Hollow Truths have been distilling their sound over hundreds of shows and multiple releases. The band self-describes their sound as 'modern 90's.' With their focus on storytelling and emphasis on the pop elements of alt-rock, they often draw comparisons to many bands of that era. Singer/songwriter Brett Buehler says he finds inspiration for lyrics in 'books, habits, relationships, & Taco Bell.' During live performances, the band focuses on making a conscious effort to entertain the crowd as though they were in the audience themselves. Based out of Baltimore, MD, the band continues to play at venues on the east coast and beyond. In 2022, the band made it as far as 6th St in Austin, TX, for SXSW. Local radio station WTMD states, 'They are rock you can relate to, offering honest storytelling over crunchy jams.'"
